Overview
Noiré Home sells hand-poured candles, reed diffusers and room sprays under the idea of quiet luxury. The shop needed to feel as considered as the products while handling collections, a cart, international pricing and trade enquiries.
The problem
A cluttered, template-style store would undercut a brand built on restraint.
The store still had practical jobs: browsing by collection, a reliable cart, international pricing and routes for wholesale buyers.
Goals
- Match the brand's quiet, premium identity
- Keep browsing and checkout clear despite a minimal design
- Serve both retail customers and trade buyers
Approach and key decisions
- Editorial restraint
- Restrained typography and generous space let the product photography lead.
- Slow, deliberate motion
- Soft scroll reveals were tuned to support the atmosphere without competing with products.
- Separate paths for trade
- Bulk orders and stockists have dedicated pages, away from the retail journey.

What we learned
A premium feel comes from what you leave out, but navigation and cart behaviour must stay completely obvious.
