Overview
Community Hosting and Support (CHS) provides supported accommodation, outreach support and consultancy for young people aged 16 and over across the UK. Its audience includes local authorities, housing associations and care providers evaluating it as a partner.
The problem
CHS needed a credible presence for institutional audiences, and had to explain three distinct service lines without overwhelming visitors.
The subject is sensitive, so the tone had to be trustworthy and calm.
Goals
- Present three service pillars clearly, each with its own page
- Build trust with local authorities and housing partners
- Route enquiries reliably to the CHS team
Approach and key decisions
- Three separate service pillars
- Each service line has a dedicated page, keeping messaging focused and navigation uncluttered.
- Restrained motion
- Animation was kept subtle out of respect for the people CHS supports.
- Reliable enquiries
- The contact form sends submissions through Resend so they reach the team's inbox.

What we learned
For sensitive subjects, restraint in motion and tone is part of the brief, not a stylistic preference.
